THE STUDY AT A GLANCE

This independent study by the prestigious W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University demonstrates that Plexus is a major economic driver, contributing millions to the U.S. economy, including $25 million in sales taxes. It shows that in 2019 alone, Plexus created more than 7,100 American jobs and provided more than $201 million in total earnings for its 400,000 Ambassadors who serve as independent sales representatives.

“The purpose of this study was to measure the economic impact of Plexus’ U.S. operations in Maricopa County, the State of Arizona, and also at a national level in fiscal year 2019,” said Dennis Hoffman, Director of the Seidman Research Institute at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. “Our findings show that Plexus had a $882 million economic impact on the U.S. GDP and a $74 million economic impact in the local Arizona community.”
